WordFast stops working with Excel or PowerPoint

I use WordFast since the early days, and was satisfied so far.
I have WF 4.22 and MS Office Pro XP.
No changes in hard- or software since 2003.
Since last week however, WF refuses any longer to work with Excel files or PowerPoint presentations.
My blank document remains blank, and no matter how often I click Alt +down, I always receive the "End of translation" message.

Does anyone here has an idea where to look for to solve this?

EDIT May 28, 2006:
I forgot to mention that in doubt, I ran the detect & Repair function of Office, which did not solve the problem.

WordFast/Excel-PowerPoint: the solution May 30, 2006

I had to find the solution myself.

The cause of the problem was within normal.dot.
Deleting it restored the functions of import/export of segments from and to Excel.

Hope this'll help someone else.
