A client has sent me 5 TMs to work with each ending with a different file extention: .iix, .mdf, .mwf, .mtf, .tmw.

How do I open these files and use them in Wordfast?

Many thanks,

Try to open the TMW file Jun 2, 2006

The TMW file is the only file that matters to Wordfast. If it's not encrypted you can open it with Wordfast. Otherwise you'll have to ask your client for a TMX TM.

If you have problems obtaining the TMX files from your customer, you could ask anyone that uses Trados to open the TM files and export their content in TMX format.

The TMX format can be imported in Wordfast.

Thank you - I have now successfully opened and used the file.

I hope you both have good weekends!
