I am having a problem using WordFast. Can anyone help? I am using Word Professional Edition 2003 on an XP platform.

When translating an Excel file all of the carriage returns were converted into a double male/mars symbol ( ).

I have attempted to search and replace but when I key in the ascii code (ALT-11) and attempt a search, Excel does not recognize this character and finds nothing.

Please tell me how I can replace these symbols with a carriage return.

Thank you.

does Excel find the symbol if you copy and paste it into the search box from Word (for instance)?
I sometimes use this approach to get Excel to find accented characters...
