Wordfast 5.20

I'm translating a technical handbook and don't remember how can I translate the index.
Is it better to cut this part of the text creating two files and start directly with the textfile and add in the end the part of the index ???
thank you for your help

Ingrid

thank you

Don't translate the index. It is a field that you can update later after translating by right-clocking with the mouse and selecting update field. Make sure you update the entire table, not just the pages numbers... and presto, your field picks up all of the headings that you translated.
Hope this helps!

Best regards,

Dear John,

thank you for your help - actually after writing the question I thought that it could work in some way as you told. At the moment I'm doing the text part, at the end I will see if it works.

Thanks again
best regards

Ingrid
