Hi,

I have been contacted by an agency and they have accepted to work with me despite the fact that I do not have Trados, but also on the condition that the word count/matches are the same as Trados.
How can I verify this? Their price matrix with Trados is as follows:
0-74%: full word rate
75-99%: 50% of full word rate
100%, reps: 25% of full word rate

I have never had to apply this matrix for my work and am a bit lost.
Many thanks for any advice

You can analyse with Wordfast Oct 18, 2006

Tools- Analyse.
Because Wf segments somewhat differently from Trados, the result will not be the same, but unless there are lots of digits in the text the difference is negligable.
The splitting seems quite fair, but put your wordrate up, so that you do not lose out.
The customer will send you his Trados analysis, which you can copy into Excel.
Regards
Heinrich
