Hi all,

I'm working on this Word doc with Wordfast, to which I disabled macros, and when I try to clean up the document, the message of Microsoft Visual Basic 5825 error: "object eliminated" pops up.

How can I fix this?

Hi Pablo,

The last time this error was reported in the Wordfast group at http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/wordfast_beta/messages
was May 2005. Maybe you should just upgrade to the current version.

Wait! I was using "quick" clean-up.. Oct 22, 2006

... and then I tried using normal clean-up from the menu and it worked!

It's alright now, but do you have any idea why it worked with the "full" clean-up feature?

Hi Pablo,

If you encounter this message the next time you try to quick-clean a document, report it in the forum I mentioned before. Both cleaning methods should work without a problem.

Urgent: can't find "normal clean-up" (error 5825) Jun 24, 2010

Hello,

I have the same problem. I've tried to use "normal clean-up" like suggested, but I cannot find it in the Wordfast menu.

Does anyone know how I can find it?

As I had the same problem when I was working with Wordfast classic, after switching into Wordfast Pro, the condition has been sorted out fully. I hope this would help you.
