Acrobat Reader found. Import PDF file ?

Good evening everybody,

For the very first time, I've been trying to translate an Excel file with Wf. I did what the manual told me to do (Click on the first Excel cell to be translated, then open a new Word doc, then start the first segment). The problem is that I have a message "Acribat reader found . Import PDF file". When I cancel the message, my blank Word doc remains blank and Wf does not work.
Anybody could help me ?

Make sure you don't have Acrobat open Mar 16, 2007

(nor Powerpoint for example which is another format you can translate with Wf).

If this doesn't help, try to close any Office application and Wordfast and start again.

No application was opened... Still don't understand after 2 hours of tests !!! I"m going crazy !

Remove Acrobat files from office startup folder Mar 17, 2007

Try to remove (or rename by adding the extension .old) any acrobat files you have in the MS office STARTUP folder. This is just a guess but it may work.
