About me

My main area of specialisation is IT and Telecommunications, which is the speciality I studied during my translation degree. I also have considerable experience translating patents and other technical texts such as automotive manuals, etc. Other experience includes translating a number of marketing and business-related documents.

I have been working as a full-time translator for 7 years (since graduating from DCU), although I did considerable amounts of part-time translation work during my undergraduate years.

I am completely bilingual in both Spanish and English, having lived most of my life in Spanish-speaking countries. Although this allows me to translate into both these languages, producing native quality, idiomatic texts in every case, I am currently focusing on translating into English only, since that is my mother tongue.

Most of my current workload is in the French-English and Spanish-English combinations.
