I have 35+ years of experience in the business world.
I held a full-time position as a translator at the Emballages Smurfit-Stone, New Richmond (Qc) Canada from 2003 to 2005. Pursuant to the closure of the mill and my passion for translation, I decided to share my talents with others businesses and individuals.
My bilingualism and work experience in fields of expertise like engineering, architecture, law studies, municipal, provincial and federal governments, chartered accountants, pulp and paper, health services, oil, etc. are the basis of my qualifications and acquired skills. My goal is to assist companies and individuals to better communicate with other businesses and individuals.
Translation is an area of business where it is very important to interpret in a second language, the intentions, the motives, the emotions, the goals and all other given subjects originating from a unique author; and, to replicate the communication in the most exact and precise form possible. Needless to say, that the “verbatim” method is not my forte.
