The Fund offers investors exposure to a diversified portfolio of commodities. The Fund aims to outperform its commodity index1 through exposure to a proven investment process: a rules-based strategic methodology called the Tangible Asset Programme (“TAP”).

Why Invest In Commodities?
If your goal is to maximize a portfolio’s risk-adjusted return, commodities should be regarded as a permanent part of a well-diversified portfolio. Commodities are a legitimate and distinct asset class, with returns comparable to equities but with lower risk and volatility. The returns cannot be replicated with a combination of other assets (for example, stock and bonds). Commodities add significant value and utility by providing diversification, by helping to increase the risk-adjusted return of a portfolio, and by providing protection from inflation.

Over the long term, commodities have historically produced returns that are comparable to equities but with lower volatility.

Investing in commodities can help improve a portfolio’s risk-adjusted return due to the low correlation of returns with traditional asset classes (equities and bonds).
A New Solution
We believe that the Fund offers investors superior direct exposure to the benefits of the commodities asset class. In addition to providing liquid and diversified exposure to the commodities futures markets, the Fund also targets outperformance of its commodity index by leveraging the TAP Strategy.
The Fund is fully UCITS compliant and thus benefits from robust regulatory oversight and transparency. The Fund uses a combination of swaps and investments in fund units to capture the excess returns (or losses) of the TAP Strategy against the [______] Index. The result is a product that offers true exposure to tangible long only-commodities futures with the transparency and accessibility of a UCITS structure.
The TAP Strategy
The TAP methodology balances strict portfolio construction guidelines with market-driven implementation strategies. The process has historically produced stronger returns than both of the most commonly used commodity indices since the launch of the Strategy in 1987.
The process has also produced similar returns to the S&P 500 Index over the same period but with lower risk. This stronger risk-adjusted return can be seen by the Strategy’s lower Standard Deviation and higher Sharpe Ratio.
Market-Driven Implementation
As the commodity futures contracts near the last trading date or first delivery date, our managers either close out the positions or “roll them over” into a new contract. The timing of this process is opportunistic, and is based on the managers’ experienced assessment of liquidity levels and price activity in the market.
