I am a japanese linguist and I'm working as a translator about 13 years in JAPAN. Almost technical translation

I'm interested in Calculated Literature. This means the information of novels is computed by scientific methods. In my case I use a logical method such as "Montague Grammer" and "Rough Set" to handle "The Magic Mountain" of Thomas Mann because his style irony can be seen as "Fuzzy reasoning (approximation)". As the computing processing I select "Text Mining". In addition I'm reseaching now the phonology in the text.
This year I compared Th. Mann with Ohgai Mori (Japanese Author) and regarded the former as modal-multivalued logic and the latter as temporal logic.
Verbal presentation: Japan Synergy Society (May, 1997), (May, 2005), (May, 2006), (May, 2007); Abduction Study Group (Nov. 2005) for Literary System.
Literary work: Introduction to Computational Literature: Thomas Mann's irony and Fuzzy; J.W.v.Goethe's the Italian Journey (joint translation).
