About me

I am very good at English<>Japanese interpreting (consecutive), and can handle almost any subject or situation, including depositions and other legal assignments, conferences and business meetings. Reside in the Washington DC area, but will travel anywhere.

I have three decades of experience as a journalist, writing for both in English and Japanese. My background gives me an ability to handle just about any subject, ranging from politics and government, business and technology to cultural and social materials. It also turned me into a real wordsmith--I am committed to accuracy and flow in language. Having born and schooled in Japan, but lived in the U.S. for the last 25 years, I am truly bilingual! On top of that, I have lived and worked in France, and am able to read and converse freely in French.
