I have been working as a translator for over 25 years. This experience has come mainly after working for a German Multinational company. This company deals with the following fields: agrochemistry, processing industry, agriculture, zoology, biology, botany, toxicology, viticulture, environment, in which I could accomplish many translations such as technical reports, toxocological files, letters, marketing surveys, press releases and articles..
Beside that I also accomplished some small services in the tourism segment, menus in a restaurant in Germany, this helped me to improve my vocabulary in this segment as well.
I have decided to enlarge my horizons so I became a freelance translator using all my experience and years of work.
I am improving the use of Wordfast and taking courses as well. I think it is a very interesting translation tool.
I have been enlarging my working areas with interests also in sports, cooking, psychology, education, religion, linguistics.
I have also started learning Italian and Arabic but cannot translate yet from these languages!
My main focus is to be able to accomplish my tasks well and it is a job that brings a lot of new things and new people into our lives.
I love my job because it is never get boring and you learn every day
