Graduated from Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute in 1979 with engineering diploma in marine diesel engines, but from the day one worked for a company producing heavy mining rope shovels.
Self-mastered English from the scratch while erecting and field-supporting excavators in India in early 90s as a member of a multinational team.
Refined my command of English while actively managing company translation group, translating complete gas turbine engine documentation kits into Russian and accommodating them to Russian standards and regulations (Director-Customer Support, Pratt&Whitney Russia, aviation gas turbines, 1995 to 1999), later during another three years assignment to India (Project management of three W2000 dragline erections, 2000 to 2003), supporting and promoting surface mining equipment of Bucyrus and Marion makes in Russia (Representative - surface equipment, Dy Director of Rep Office in Russia, 2003 to July 31st, 2009).

Last project at Bucyrus Int.Inc.: coordination and hands-on participation in the shovel document kit translation project for the first ever Bucyrus rope shovel (with dipper capacity of 42 cubic metres) sold to Russia.

From mid-September I am Chief Engineer at Arcadia Inc. .
