About me

I am a freelance translator from English into Lithuanian (and vice versa) based in
Manchester (UK). I graduated from Vilnius University (Lithuania) in 2004 and
I have been working as a translator and proofreader since then.

I mainly translate general legal (court documents, witness statements, police reports),
medical (NHS leaflets), IT (user manuals for digital cameras, scanners etc), technical and marketing literature. I also have experience translating various certificates (birth, marriage), diplomas and etc.

I am looking for long term co-operation. I am reliable, hard-working, passionate about languages and I have got an eye for detail. I can assure your client’s satisfaction with my translation. You can send me files for translation in various formats.

My fields of interest are really broad - from contemporary literature, history, digital photography to environment protection. Writing, reading has always been an important part of my life. I was writing articles for a local newspaper while still at school and I also got quite a few prizes for my essays.

	X Why did the menu change? The updates to the menu were made to make the site easy and more intuitive for visitors. Obviously, like any change, this may take a few days to get used to. The dropdown menus have been divided into two-dimensional panels with similar items grouped together under headings. This eliminates scrolling for those with smaller screens, and also improves readability. More information on the changes... Where is the "My ProZ.com" menu? Mouseover your name at the top of the screen. Here you will find information about your account, your email settings, and more. The "My ProZ.com" menu was moved up here to simplify the main navigation, and to keep all of this type of information together. I cannot find something If you are having trouble finding something with the new menu, please submit a support request.
