About me
I'm an Argentine attorney living in the U.S. for the past 7 and a half years. I've worked as a Foreign Legal Consultant for several years while studying to become a Translator/Interpreter. I'm also a Certified Court Interpreter for the State of Florida (FL Public Registry of Certified Court Interpreters). Regarding translation certifications, I'm planning on sitting the ATA exam soon. While completing my studies I started working full time for a renowned Translation Agency as an in-house & Freelance Translator/Editor. After obtaining my Florida Certification as a Court Interpreter, I worked for a year as a full-time staff interpreter for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida, which is the largest in the state and the fourth largest trial court in the nation.

I'm currently Freelancing as a Judicial Certified Interpreter for several private companies and also as a legal transcriptionist and translator.

A little bit more about myself: apart from my Law degree (Honors) from the University of Buenos Aires, I also have a degree in Commercial Aviation Management from the UADE (Universidad Argentina de la Empresa) and an A.S. with the highest honors from the MDC (Miami Dade College) in Translation & Interpretation Studies. Furthermore, I am planning on continuing to hone my studies in the art of Translation with a master´s degree.

About my family: I come from a family of working professionals: both my parents are attorneys with more than 30 years of experience, and my older brother is a Biochemist. I consult them whenever I need a hand with the proofreading of a job related matter or as consultants in their respective fields of expertise.
