I graduated from Instituto Superior de Intérpretes y Traductores (ISIT) in Mexico City with an emphasis on Simultaneous Interpretation.

I'm currently enrolled in an Spanish/English legal interpretation certificate program at the College of Extended Learning extension from San Francisco State University.

I also work as full time translator for an online community newspaper that covers the Mission District of San Francisco. (missionlocal.org).

In my free time I like to read fiction, newspapers and magazines; going to concerts and enjoying life in the Mission.

I have been using Proz.com for a while now as a resource to research terms and have found the forums to be really helpful; I'm hoping it will also allow me to meet more translators/interpreters and employers in my area.
