I am a practising translator and simultaneous/consecutive interpreter in the Milan area. I have previously lived and worked in Denmark, where I obtained my university degree and made my first working experience as a translator (of websites, product manuals, commercial correspondence, tourist brochures) and interpreter (at trade fairs, business meetings, receiving foreign guests). In Milan I was able to deal with translation both theoretically (I finished a Ph.D. in translation studies in 2007) and practically as a conference interpreter at events such as annual sales meetings, press conferences, academic lectures.
I have also been teaching Spanish language and translation for the past 6 years here in Milan and work on a weekly basis as a simultaneous interpreter (Italian-English) at several Fashion and Design schools in Milan.
