În după-amiaza acelei zile pariziene văzusem, la Centrul Pompidou, o mare expoziţie André Breton, pretext, de fapt, pentru o desfăşurare de imagerie suprarealistă cum rareori poţi vedea într-un singur loc. Mă însoţiseră prietenii la care locuiam, un cuplu tânăr, mixt în mai multe sensuri, căci reunea două rase, două religii şi două arte, dar mai ales două fizionomii extrem de contrastante. Ei îi priveam faţa reflectată în sticla vreunui Delvaux şi părea chiar de acolo, înconjurată natural de femei goale şi blonde aşteptând (pe cine?) într-o gară pustie. Era aidoma lor, cu excepţia părului tăiat violent la ceafă. Şi, fireşte, a hainelor, între care faimoasa cămaşă bărbătească, neagră, în care o văzusem de cele mai multe ori în săptămâna cât stătusem cu ei. Cum îşi găsise românca asta sibiancă algerianul cu care locuia, habar n-am. Legătura mea fusese, fireşte, ea, prin intermediul unei prietene comune, tot muziciană. El era un berber mândru de originea lui, marcată prin tichia de catifea cu ape vişinii şi cu fund de atlaz albastru de care cred că nu se despărţea niciodată. Astfel, era, ca şi ea, haios, nepăsător, cam leneş... Imposibil de spus din ce trăia. Căci mă-ndoiesc că din actorie, cum (nici măcar nu) pretindea: nu cred că Othello – singurul rol în care-l vedeam cât de cât – se juca prea des în acele zile la Paris... Din toată expoziţia mi-a rămas în minte doar o singură pictură. Cred că sunt ţicnit: uneori iubesc câte un tablou atât de tare, încât literalmente îmi vine să dau spargere la muzeu şi să plec cu el. Era „Le soir qui tombe” al lui Magritte: o fereastră spartă, cioburi lungi aşezate sub ea în picioare şi soarele de amurg răsfrânt în ele sub unghiuri diferite... | Translation - Portuguese
Naquela tarde dum dia parisiense tinha visto, no Centro Pompidou, uma grande exposição André Breton, mais um pretexto para o desenrolar duma colecção de imagens surrealistas como raramente se pode ver num único lugar. Tinham-me acompanhado os amigos na casa dos quais estava alojado, um casal jovem, misto de vários pontos de vista, pois juntava duas raças, duas religiões e duas artes, mas sobretudo duas fisionomias extremamente contrastantes. Estava a olhar para a cara dela espelhada pelo vidro de algum Delvaux e parecia como se dele fizesse parte, rodeada num jeito natural por mulheres nuas e louras esperando (por quem?) numa estação deserta. Estava igualzinha a elas, excepto os cabelos que tinham um corte violento na nuca. E, naturalmente, excepto as roupas, inclusive a famosa camisa masculina, preta, que já a tinha visto vestir várias vezes ao longo da semana passada na casa deles. Como tinha encontrado esta romena de Sibiu o argelino com quem habitava, não faço a mínima ideia. A minha ligação tinha sido, naturalmente, ela, através duma amiga comum, de profissão músico também. Ele era um berbere orgulhoso da sua origem, também marcada pela carapuça de veludo com reflexos cor da ginja e fundo de cetim azul da qual acho que não se separava nunca. De resto, era como ela, brincalhão, indiferente, um bocado preguiçoso... Impossível dizer do que é que vivia. Duvido que da profissão de actor, como (nem sequer) pretendia: não acho que Othello - o único rolo no qual o via de vez em quando – era frequentemente posto em cena naqueles dias em Paris... De toda a exposição ficou-me estampada na mente uma só pintura. Devo estar louco: às vezes gosto tanto dum quadro que tenho leteralmente vontade de assaltar o museu e levá-lo comigo. Era “Le soir qui tombe” do Magritte: uma janela quebrada, cacos longos colocados de pé debaixo dela e o sol do crepúsculo reflectido neles sob ângulos diversos... |
