Creatie 2006: In Trampoline Mission 3 brengen drie energieke supermannen een wervelend straatspektakel dat meteen in het oog springt door de nooit eerder vertoonde combinatie van jongleerstunts, acrobatie, straattheater en een maxitrampoline. Onder het motto 'the sky is the limit' tuimelen en zweven ze onder, boven en op elkaar. Vliegend door de lucht tast het onafscheidelijke trio, naast de grenzen van de zwaartekracht, ook de grenzen van hun relatie af. Samen een gat in de lucht, samen tegen één, één tegen allen, wie is beter? best? sterkst? Dit trio kan dan ook niet met en niet zonder elkaar leven. Het ene moment proberen ze met halsbrekende toeren elkaar de loef af te steken. Het andere moment springen ze harmonieus een gat in de lucht.

Creación 2006: En “Trampoline Mission 3” tres superartistas del circo ofrecen un deslumbrante espectáculo de calle. Una combinación, jamás antes visto, entre el más atrevido malabarismo, y acrobacias sorprendentes sobre un maxi-trampolín. Un espectáculo que deja a los asistentes boquiabiertos y sin aliento. Bajo el lema “the sky is the limit' (“El firmamento es nuestro límite”) artistas y atletas parecen desafiar las leyes de la gravedad, dando tumbos y cabriolas por el aire, y momentos después volando como si fuesen pájaros. ¡Parecen no poder vivir ni juntos, ni el uno sin el otro! The fascinating world of the mass media offers unique opportunities to proclaim to the whole human family the salvific truth of Christ, to promote healthy human and family values, to pattern the ideas and to influence the conduct of individuals. There must, therefore, be lay persons in the Church willing to strive so that the power of the mass media is no longer a force that destroys, but a creative one that reflects the love of God “who is Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all” (Eph 4:6). The presence in the media of people more exclusively devoted to the Lord is also very granted, since all the efforts in this important new apostolic field have to be encouraged in order to reach a better coordination of the initiatives in this sector, and higher levels of quality and efficiency.

El fascinante mundo de los medios de comunicación social ofrece oportunidades únicas para proclamar a la entera familia humana la verdad salvífica de Cristo, promover sanos valores humanos y familiares, modelar las ideas, e influir en la conducta de las personas Deben, por tanto, existir laicos en la Iglesia, dispuestos a trabajar para que el poder de los medios no sea una fuerza que destruye sino un amor creativo que refleje el amor de Dios que es Padre de todos, como resulta también más que oportuna la presencia en los medios de comunicación de personas más exclusivamente consagradas al Señor, ya que todos los esfuerzos en este nuevo e importante campo apostólico han de ser alentados, para que las iniciativas en este sector se coordinen mejor y alcancen niveles superiores de calidad y eficacia.

Born in Belgium from an English mother, I studied philosophy, theology, and medicine, and lived and worked for 34 years in Latin America as a book and scriptwriter for Spanish TV. So Spanish is really my mother tongue.
In my vision translating is a process that must be attended closely and imaginatively. A skilled translator must focus on the real meaning of the word and phrases in its original language. Even simple words and phrases can become confusing when moving from one language to another. But translating is also an art, a feeling, a music, a divine spark: “The artistry lies in metamorphosing the original into a form and linguistic style that seems natural to it in the new tongue” (Alastair Reid). In a truly good translation you should not be able to “smell” the language of origin.
If all what you expect is a mere technical translation, in which the information from the source is clearly represented in the target language, I am at your disposition. But If you prefer a more literary translation that conveys not only all the pieces but also the "feeling" and emotional impact of the original, I will work for you with much greater enthusiasm… and also charge you a bit more!
