Scan
The Scan feature enables a two-way radio to continuously scan each channel for activity. Press the programmed Scan key to initiate scanning channels in the order as they appear in scan list. Green LED flashes during the scan process, and solidly glows when activity is detected and signaling condition is satisfied on a channel. Press the key again to exit scanning.
When scanning is active, the radio will continuously scan for activity on scan list members. Once activity is detected on a channel, scanning will pause on the active channel for you to receive activity. The channels available for scanning are programmed by your dealer.
ATIS
Upon press of the PTT, a radio equipped with ATIS (Automatic Identification System) capability will transmit a 12-digit identity code according to the specific coding rule and modulation method. Owing to this function, the administrator can monitor equipments on the go, and prevent unauthorised use of radio equipments.
Note: Your dealer may enable the AITS feature and set a 12-digit identity code through the programming software.

Escáner
La característica de Escáner permite a una radio de dos vías explorar continuamente cada canal en busca de actividad. Presione la tecla Escáner programada para iniciar la exploración de canales en el orden que aparecen en la lista. Las luces de color verde del Diodo se apagan y se encienden continuamente durante el proceso de búsqueda, y quedan encendidas cuando se detecta actividad y la condición de señalización encuentra un canal satisfactorio. Presione nuevamente la tecla para salir del proceso de exploración.
Cuando este modo esté activo, la radio buscará continuamente actividad explorando en la lista de miembros. Una vez que se detecte la actividad de un canal, el proceso se detendrá en el canal activo para que usted comience a recibir señal. Los canales disponibles en esta exploración están programados por su proveedor.
ATIS
Al presionarse la tecla PTT, una radio equipada con la capacidad denominada Sistema de Identificación Automática (ATIS en inglés), transmitirá un código de identidad de 12 dígitos de acuerdo con el método de modulación y las normas de codificación específicas. Debido a esta función, el administrador puede monitorear los equipos mientras están en actividad y evitar, de este modo, la utilización no autorizada de equipos de radio.
Nota: Su proveedor puede habilitarle el dispositivo ATIS e instalar un código de identidad de 12 dígitos mediante el uso del software de programación.
