Job description:
The National Screening Committee - Antenatal & Newborn Screening Programmes require Professional Medical Translators to translate information about screening from English into a range of languages. You will be required to translate text and text which is connected to pictures/diagrams.

The materials that you translate will be checked by Health Care Professionals for accuracy in terms of medical terminology and meaning and for quality assurance.
The start date for the project is June 2008. The first task will be to translate a glossary of terms, which will be checked by a health care professional. Following this the text of the leaflets will require translation. The publication is for national use by the general public, so attention to detail and accuracy are important.
The closing date for applications is Monday 26th May 2008.
