Job description:
- The purpose of the trip is to visit factories.
- I have visited some factories before in 2007, and it will be our first visit to some factories.
- It is most important that the translator should be professional and be able to translate effectively for
business negotiations, factory inspection & quality control.
- It is important to leave the impression that our company is good, trustworthy and reliable with business all over the world.
- We must communicate that quality is important to get new orders and repeat orders.
- We must learn about the factory and their ability to serve our needs in the future.
- It is also important that factory should keep all matters confidential between both companies for future business.
- The translator should be polite, be able to judge situations correctly, be ok with travelling and sudden changes in daily plans, should be resourceful to arrange transportation quickly and cost effectively, be alert and be a good communicator, good language skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
