Job description:
Dear Translators,
I am looking for translators who are interested in joining my team to work on a large project for an American based Healthcare company.
We are expecting 2 million words to be translated into Tagalog in the next 6 months or so. Thus, I would like to recruit qualified translators who are well-versed in this industry, have a high capacity turnaround and works on Trados, preferably Trados 6.5 and above (to avoid compatibility problem with other TMs generated by higher versions). As the client are paying us based on Trados rates, the rates we are looking at for this huge project is:
New word rate: USD0.04-0.06
Fuzzy Matches: 25% of new word rate
Repetitions: 10% of new word rate
Aslo, as we are using used TM, some batches of files may hvae repetitions as high as 80%, and others at 20%. I will need you to be comfortable in such cases as well. I have checked some of these high repetitions files, and realized that the contents are exactly the same, so you ca simply copy and paste the contents from one doc to another.
If you are interested in securing a position in this confirmed project, please do not hesitate to reply my email immediately. The project has already started and I would like to get my team of translators ready for more influx. Kindly note that as we are a professional translation company who promised all our clients to engage only qualified translators who passed our tests, you will be put through a non-exhaustive sample test. In this sample test, you will also be tested on various other areas as we are not only looking at recruiting you for this project only, but for the many other projects we are handling. Thus, this test will identify which areas you are good in. Verztec is expanding; that is why we need to recruit more people to work on our projects.
