I have a set of files that deal with very specific aspects of building contstruction using wooden boards, beams, and planks (the typical method of housing construction in the USA). However, it is to be translated into Spanish for Mexico.

It includes some text and some engineering drawings, which would just be translated with no format into a Word file.

I need someone with a very strong knowledge of this field and how the concepts should be conveyed in Spanish for Mexico. If you are not knoweldgeable in this field you will have a daunting research task.

Backer Block (use if hanger load exeeds 250 lbs.). Before installing a backer block to a double I-joist, drive 3 additional 10D nails through the webs and filler block where the backer block will fit. Clinch. Install backer tight to top of flange. Use twelve 10D nails, clinched when possible. Maximum capacity for hanger = 1280 lb.

Minimum grade for backer block material shall be utility grade SPF (South) or better for solid sawn lumber and rated sheathing grade for wood structural panels.
