I am looking for an interpreter EN - RU who can take on an assignment (simultaneous interpretation) at a pharmacy conference in Vienna on the 13th and 14th of November.

Experience in that field needed. Here some additional information on the task:

13th November 2009- 12-14hrs
14th November 2009- 9-14hrs

This is a pharmaceutical conference/congress so the interpreter must be quite expert in pharmaceutical and scientific terms.

1. Do you need someone to interprete consecutively or simultaneously? (a consecutive interpreter makes notes while somebody else is talking and interpretes always after approx. 5min - 10min while a simultaneous interpreter talks simultanouesly while somebody is talking) I believe it will be simultaneous. At this point they still have not answered this questions but from what they sent me I believe simultaneously.

2. How many people will be attending the congress? This will be a meeting with 30 participants during the congress.

3. Can you provide information material on the subject in advance so that the interpreter can prepare herself thoroughly? I can not provide any material on the subject matter yet. Only that this is a pharmaceutical company who invites doctors to the congresses and will be meeting with experts on the subject matter. 4. Are the hours fixed or is it possible that you will need the interpreter for further hours? They have given me fixed hours but there is a slight possibility they may need extra hours. You can quote me a total price for the fixed hours requested and then extra hours, per hour.

In case the project will be granted, a longterm cooperation is offered.
