Explanation:
FOB = Free on Board (not freight on board)

En español, FOB = Libre a Bordo, que significa que el Vendedor entrega el producto al Comprador al cargarlo en el buque/camión/vagón, etc., es decir que la propiedad (y el riesgo) pasan a ser del Comprador una vez cargado el producto.

agree  Pamela Peralta: De acuerdo con Cristobal 'franco a bordo' El término FOB exige que el vendedor despache la mercancía de exportación. Nunca escuché de 'freight on board' tampoco ni tampoco un ingeniero hermano mío para quien ésto es pan de cada día.
