Japanese term or phrase: ドングリボックス
I am editing a document where someone has translated ドングリボックス as "dongle box". This sounds like an extremely 「あやしい」translation to me.

From what I can tell, a dongle is ドングル in Japanese, a device, with the meaning as follows(from ALC): ◆ソフトウェアの違法コピーを防止するための特殊な機器のこと。この機器が接続されたコンピュータでのみ、特定のソフトウェアを使用できるようになる. This seems to tell me that "dongle box" is not a correct translation.

This ドングリボックス is a physical part, probably plastic, that is supposed to have a label stuck on it. (This document is a checksheet that some medical equipment has been properly assembled: includes instructions where safety labels, etc. are supposed to be stuck on the product, and ドングリボックス is given as a location where a label is supposed to be.) However, unfortunately there is no picture and no other information about this part.

Does anyone know what it is??

Thanks.
