Explanation:
The Spanish equivalent loses out a little on the avian play on words in the English, but I think saying something like "Dios los cría y ellos se juntan, y todo eso..." might work fine in the context of uniting.

Es una alusión al refrán "Birds of a feather flock together", lo que encuentra su análogo en "Cada oveja con su pareja".
