In the French one you'll find it as "tribunal de céans", while in the English you'll see it as "this Tribunal". this court / the present court ... Explanation: and all the related formal phrases ("this Honorable Court," etc). "ceans" is a contraction of "ce dedans" (literally, "here within"), and is an archaic formula used only in the field of law.
