technetium (99mTc)

Spanish translation: it is technetium-99 that is quasi stable

English term or phrase: technetium (99mTc)
Technetium (99mTc) decays with the emission of gamma radiation with energy of 140 keV and a half-life of 6 hours to technetium (99mTc) which can be regarded as quasi stable

My question is: aren't these two compounds the same?
Is this a typo?
This is a back translation and it is not very accurate, in my opinion.
Can some scientist out there give me a hand?

Thank you.

Explanation:

technetium (99mtc)
technetium (99tc) decays into technetium (99mtc)

Explanation:
The "m" stands for "meta stable"

http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu/hbase/pertab/tc.html

Technetium - 99 is produced by bombarding molybdenum 98Mo with neutrons. The resultant 99Mo decays with a half-life of 66 hours to a metastable state of Tc designated technetium-99m. It is a short-lived radioisotope which finds wide application in nuclear medicine for various types of scans.
