This Agreement is entered into for a term of one (1) year, and shall automatically renew for another [year] unless earlier terminated [upon notice given] not less than two (2) months prior to calendar year-end.

Note that while language and syntax very closely track the original, it is just barely acceptable as contract language. The original would have benefitted from a review by counsel.

Reservations regarding Klaus Beyer\'s interpretation:
The term, \"EINES Kalendarjahres\" creates ambiguity which the parties should, in fairness, be stuck with, without help from any but a judge with the HGB in hand. As a practical matter, these contracts, commonly drafted by small manufacturers without assistance of counsel, tend to be expected to operate with automatic renewals ad infinitum, thus, \"for another and another.\" I am reluctant to alter the bargain they struck.
