I can add that further along in my text it is obvious that it concerns a follow up examination to compare the results with the last test, because they mention that in comparison with the previous CT these are the new results. Therefore I will be using Barend's answer for my translation.

Indeed more likely - my suggestion "comparison vs FU" could be an objective for a clinical trial rather than for the examination of an individual patient.

natuurlijk kan ik niets met zekerheid zeggen over wat "co" betekent, maar "FU" als (Nederlandse !) afkorting voor "follow-up" is geen gekke gedachte

het volgende zou dan aan de hand kunnen zijn

doel van het onderzoek

conform follow-up te vergelijken -->

de patiënt heeft in een bepaalde toestand het ziekenhuis verlaten en de bedoeling is nu om de toestand waarin de patiënt het ziekenhuis heeft verlaten te vergelijken conform de gegevens die uit de follow-up naar voren komen

gewoon een ideetje

"fluorouracil" verschijnt als acronym altijd als 5-FU

conform follow-up te vergelijken klinkt niet erg logisch in mijn oren.. Indien het gaat om een follow-up van een test- of controle-groep, is het vergelijken al vanzelfsprekend. Wellicht staat "co" voor iets anders..?
