Deze term komt voor op een cv ("projectleider voor werk-naar-werk begeleiding") maar IS hier überhaupt een Engelse term voor? Zo ja, dan kan ik die niet vinden. Suggesties zijn erg welkom.

Thank you Chris. I thought "redundancy counselling" was a good suggestion as well, but I liked this one best. I used it without "services" added, as copheoske suggested. Thanks all!

job-to-job counselling

Explanation:

redundancy counselling

Explanation:
This term seem to cover all sorts of services provided to people who have been or are about to be made redundant. See, for instance, http://www.redundancyexpert.co.uk/about-redundancy-counselli...

Good employers often make redundancy counselling services available to their outgoing staff. If that doesn’t happen to you, you can always contact one privately.

So what can you expect from a redundancy counselling service? Modalities differ. Sometimes the counselling is offered at your company site; sometimes elsewhere. The counselling may be focused into a single intensive day or half-day, or may be delivered in smaller sessions over an extended period. Sometimes you can expect one-on-one advice from a counsellor, or even a specialised series of counsellors, each of whom will coach you on one aspect of your future job search; sometimes the counselling will be delivered in group sessions instead.

- includes counselling about future career, job-hunting advice, redundancy's pitfalls (incl. financial advice), etc.

agree  MoiraB: Hard to pinpoint difference between this and redundancy counselling - they seem to be used synonymously on many sites. http://www.yeatonassoc.com/cm.html does say that 'os' are for senior managers, while 'rc' is for middle managers. Own distinction maybe?
20 mins
-> I think that is an artificial distinction, I'd say they're synonymous, they just have a different 'feel'. To me, outplacement doesn't sounds as "bad" as redundancy counselling...

agree  Jack den Haan: Provided the context is from an "internal" to an "external" job. AFAIK, outplacement refers exclusively to the latter.

-> That's what I assumed was meant. Thanks, Jack.

agree  philgoddard: A friend of mine had this, and they gave him a desk, computer and phone to use in finding a new job.

-> And they probably thought they were being generous :)

agree  copheoske: Outplacement will do - no need to add 'services'. It's redundant! ;-)

agree  Josephine Isaacs (X): the term outplacement counselling is also common in Australia
