fatty breed of pig

Explanation:
I've found a variety of references to the above term:
e.g. "Jinhua pigs (a fatty breed) and Landrace pigs (a leaner breed)" see http://www.cabdirect.org/abstracts/20093348993.html;jsession...
and "they evolved into a small, fatty breed with dark-red, almost spicy meat..." see http://nymag.com/restaurants/features/70096/

Reference: bacon pig

Reference information:
Pigs used to be bred for either bacon or pork, but this seems to be less common now, with farmers preferring breeds which provide both. Thus some older breeds such as the Tamworth, regarded as the ultimate bacon pig, are now threatened since they are not particularly well suited to modern production methods.

I read this on a pen at Tatton Park Farm in Manchester, pigs being a hobby of mine (although my collection is limited to china and pictures, never the real thing).
