e) Los producidos por fenómenos de la naturaleza distintos a los señalados en el artículo 1 del reglamento del seguro de riesgos extraordinarios, y en particular, los producidos por elevación del nivel freático, movimiento de laderas, deslizamiento o asentamiento de terrenos, desprendimiento de rocas y fenómenos similares, salvo que estos fueran ocasionados manifiestamente por la acción del agua de lluvia que, a su vez, hubiera provocado en la zona una situación de inundación extraordinaria y se produjeran con carácter simultáneo a dicha inundación.

I would have thought that movimiento de laderas and deslizamiento meant the same thing... landslide... can anyone clarify please. Thanks :-)

Se entiende como movimiento de ladera, “slope movement” (Varnes, 1978) o
“landslide” (Sharpe, 1938), el movimiento de una masa de roca, suelo o derrubios, de
una ladera en sentido descendente (Cruden, 1991). Se incluye cualquier tipo de
movimiento en masa (se excluye por tanto la erosión), excepto la subsidencia y el
hundimiento kárstico (Fernández, 2001). Otra definición que se manifiesta en términos
análogos es la aportada por Corominas y García Yagüe definiendo movimientos de
ladera como los movimientos del terreno o desplazamientos que afectan a los materiales
en laderas o escarpes. Estos desplazamientos se producen hacia el exterior de las laderas
y en sentido descendente como consecuencia de la fuerza de la gravedad (Corominas y
García Yagüe, 1997). Los hundimientos de cavidades o de materiales están excluidos de
estos movimientos (Varnes, 1978).

Hillside Erosion


Explanation:
I think this is what ti means, although 'hillside erosion' is more likely 'escorrentía de ladera'. On the coast it could refer to cliff movement/erosion too.It can have devastating consequences for nearby buildings.
