Et oui, la vraie traduction en français médical, c'est du latin :-)

NPO pour "nil (=nihil) per os" = rien par la bouche, rien par voie orale.
Nil est la contraction de nihil (en vrai latin, pas "de cuisine ou d'église"). Nihil = rien.

On dira "Pour ce patients : NPO".
