cut (diecut), grain; ¿keylines? Explanation: You'll find an excellent glossary at http://www.wsaprinting.com/terms.html. http://cei-cei.com.mx/glosario.htm SUAJE: También conocido como troquel, es una herramienta rotatoria que se utiliza para cortar los contornos de la etiqueta. http://www.serinet.net/glosario/glosa-t.htm#Troquel Troquel: Molde de corte empleado para cortar con un mismo patrón diversos materiales como papel, cartón, láminas plásticas etc. http://www.wsaprinting.com/terms.html Die - Device for cutting, scoring, stamping, embossing or debossing. Die Stamping - Printing from lettering or other designs engraved into copper or steel. Also called the intaglio process, it is used for the production of letterheads, business cards, etc. Diecutting - Using sharp steel rules to cut special shapes from printed sheets. Diecutting can be done on either flatbed or rotary presses. Grain - The direction in which most fibers are aligned. ("Hilo" is the term for the concept of the main direction of the threads when it refers to fabric and sewing.) I didn't find "Líneas asuradas" per se. I did find "asurada" used as a poor translation of "assured", although asurar means "quemar or requemar alimentos o campos" in the DRAE. The "assured" sense suggested "guideline" or, possibly, "keyline". You'll have to judge for yourself. Reference: http://www.wsaprinting.com/terms.html |
