watch-press / satovi-mediji Explanation: "watch-press" is the name of a folder/directory in the hierarchical file structure of the web site "http://www.chronollection.com/". A folder/directory name (http://www.chronollection.com/watch-press/) is NOT part of the text meant for the web-site's visitors, it's for "internal use" by the web-site designer and could be any string not contrary to the file naming syntax of the given web-server. This web-designer opted for ease-of-editing (instead of deliberate obfuscation as some web designers do) and put a folder name indicating its content – what the press is saying about various watches. If you look further at the file structure, you'll find one sub-directory for each watchmaker mentioned http://www.chronollection.com/watch-press/roger-dubuis/chronographic-watch-discover-the-excalibur-42-watch-for-men/ http://www.chronollection.com/watch-press/breitling/the-breitling-chronographic-watch-david-beckham-is-the-face-of-the-breitling-watch/ http://www.chronollection.com/watch-press/omega/omega-speedmaster-watch-the-famous-watchmakers-celebrates-the-40th-anniversary-of-the-last-moon-land/ etc… I don't see any point in translating it - if you are "localising" the website into Croatian, you better just keep the same directory tree structure with the same names - makes it easier to find your way around when comparing versions in different languages. Not that it would make any difference to site visitors, if you really want to translate this directory/folder name, I would suggest "satovi-mediji" -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 8 days (2013-01-02 16:43:45 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- or rather "pregled-medija", as "watch-press" could also be "watching the press" |
