C'est exactement l'image présentée dans le texte source: un combat contre "le marché", à savoir l'ensemble des autres joueurs dans le casino (pardon, la Bourse).
La stratégie la plus payante est de nager à contre courant contre la masse des autres joueurs; mais si un joueur est tellement gros qu'il devient "la masse" il n'a plus contre qui nager => "simply too big to beat the market";
