First of all thank you so much for agreeing to conduct this interview with me today. We don't have much time so let's get started.


James

Not a problem.


Sophie

Ok, onto my first question. Have you always known you wanted to become an actor?


James

No, actually. I got my first job as a sales representative because my father knew the boss. Even though that job was going well, I quit since I wanted to go to university. I was rather good at math so I studied engineering. I wanted to study full-time, but I didn't have enough money. So, I got a part-time job in the university library while I continued my studies.


Sophie

That's interesting, so what happened next?


James

I fell in love with the librarian and got married. We couldn't work together; therefore she worked, and I studied. It was all going well, but then one day I met a young director. She suggested I audition for a film she was making.


Sophie

And you got the part?


James

Yes I did. She offered me the part straight away so I decided to take it.


Sophie

And the rest is history.


James
Yes, but it's a very complicated history!
