English term or phrase: high/low weave
I am translating this catalogue from English to French Canadian. The items being described are towels. Here is the sentence:

Made from yarn-dyed organic Turkish cotton, with a high/low weave for excellent absorption, they’re edged in hand-knotted fringe.

I really have no idea what HIGH-LOW means in regards to weave. I looked at pictures and still can't tell what it means or how to translate it.

Here is an example: http://www.bhg.com/shop/rizzy-home-rizzy-home-high-low-weave...
Any translation or explanation would be most welcome!

Thanks to all! Although "nid d'abeilles" is correct, I think it is mainly used in Europe. Since I'm translating in French Canadian, I used 'gaufre''.
