Asker: I'm wondering if this is some sort of idiom that I have never heard of nor can I find online. If it's simply "eating radishes," then that's fine but I'm not quite convinced. As for this job: I'm always able to put [not intelligible] for a response, so this is not a huge setback. Some clients from this agency do provide context and some don't. It is what it is. I'm just a perfectionist.

There's absolutely nothing unethical about the job you are doing. Not on your behalf. If the client was unethical, it's not your fault. Plust, even if there was, is there anybody in this site in position to criticize you? I don't think so. In fact, I'm sure not so!
