Il s'agit du mode bureau de Windows tel que tout le monde le connait. Donc peut-être, à défaut de trouver une formulation vraiment pertinente pour traduire "full desktop", appuyer sur la familiarité du bureau Windows (ce pourquoi tout le monde veut du Windows au final : "je connais et mes programmes marchent dessus").

Il ne s'agit pas réellement de transformer la Surface Pro en PC de bureau (ou alors on frôle la publicité mensongère). Il doit s'agir de la faire passer de simple tablette à PC, en profitant en particulier de toute la logithèque programmée pour le Windows "desktop" standard (API Win32 pour ceux qui connaissent) grâce à l'ajout d'un clavier, touchpad etc.
