To solve that immersion issue, it could be that transformer block converting AC mains power into DC low voltage, located at one end of the power cord in most electronic devices to make them less bulky and more mobile.

I would really not exclude the possibility of the document being written by non-native speaker. So you have a point here. The document per se is an User manual for a medical device used for phototherapy. With some description I got further in the document, this "wall power supply" has a plug, so I guess it can not be a power outlet socket, but rather something like a "bloc d'alimentation" as suggested by someone.

Asker, the term 'wall power supply' is rather unusual and potentially ambiguous.

It might refer to some kind of power supply unit that is for some reason wall-mounted. This would generally be a relatively unusual cofiguration.

Otherwise, it might refer to the power outlet socket mounted in the wall — this would be a very typical situation, but then the use of the terminology is slightly unusual. In addition, it is not entirely clear why a wall-mounted power socket might get wet — and if it did, it would likely blow the protetctice device long before any appliance got plugged in.

So it is really essential to have more context to try and figure out which it is; starting perhaps with what type of 'appliance' is being discussed here; the type and purpose of your document; and also the provenance of this document (considering the possibility it might have been written by a non-native speaker of EN)?
