Sometimes when you have many terms in your source that mean similar things you might just want to consider being more literal rather than less so. The Latin word 'gravitas' comes to mind here. The difficulty comes when they use this word in 'zwartepuntvorming'. Here you cannot be literal. So you need to use a synonym of some kind, e.g. emphasis given, accentuation. I see this as a test of whether you know where to stick to your original and where to deviate from it. |
