agree  gangels: absolutely, my learned friend. Perhaps 'uniqueness' would be an alternative

  -> Thanks. Uniqueness may denote a subtle shift to Einmaligkeit, or Einzigartigkeit. 'Eigenartigkeit' might be the borderline. Peculiarity and idiosyncracy are, I feel, discountable in this context.
