Dear colleagues,

I'm translating a text about from US English to SP Spanish a country music show in which a fan appears on the scenery with the artist, and explains that her biggest dream had always been to sing a song with him, given that she had been singing his songs at home for years while listening to his music.

The artist replies exactly: "That's why we right songs right there!", and starts singing with her.

I cannot make out the meaning of the word "right" employed as a verb here, I have never seen it with a different meaning of "arreglar", "ordenar"...

The best translation I can think of is as poor as "¡Por eso componemos canciones justo ahí!", what makes no sense at all in this context...

Would you lend me a hand here?

The text is so plain and involves no special difficulty, but this specific segment is driving me crazy...

Dear Dlyons, that's exactly the text that I am translating, I also thought about the wrong transcription of "write" being it homophone of "right", or as a kind of slang used here. Thanks so much for your help.
