Explanation:
Un "clutch cam" en anglais c'est plutôt une roue libre en français, on ne trouve l'expression que dans les brevets ou chez des traducteurs peu inspirés.

Néanmoins les cames s'appuient sur une bague interne et une bague externe et à mon avis la notion de 'thrust" désignant d'habitude une poussée axiale est trompeuse: les cames n'ont qu'un appui radial à l'intérieur comme à l'extérieur

Quant à préciser que les cames s'appuient sur du métal, je doute que ça soit utile, c'est quand la roue libre est en nylon, carbone ou autre qu'on le précise
