contribution to retirement fund prepaid Explanation: Brazilian legal docs often require payment of a contribution at a fixed percent to the court employee's retirement fund (or some other retirement fund assoc with the notaries or some other group. Instead of affixing the stamp itself (you buy the stamp), you can pay it in advance using a payment form or voucher. This "por verba" indicates that instead of affixing a stamp, the corresponding tax was paid using a payment form/voucher. (I got this explanation from ProZ Kudos many moons ago). |
